Connecticut Audubon Birdcraft Museum

In designing the Connecticut Audubon Birdcraft Museum’s New Visitors’ Center and Educational wing, David Barbour Architects addressed several design objectives. The objectives included creating a building aesthetically sympathetic to the original rustic buildings, re-orienting the Visitor’s Center new front entrance to the new parking area, allowing visitor’s with disabilities to access the entire museum complex, creating an Educational Wing which allows the children students to observe the sanctuary from within the building and from the new viewing deck.
