This existing residence is located in a Historic District in Connecticut, directly on Long Island Sound.

 

We were asked by two different owners, in succession, to make improvements to expand the home and to take better take advantage of its waterfront location, while being sensitive to the historic context.

In the new designs, both the interior spaces, in some cases expanded, and the new outdoor living spaces, including the new roof top decks, take full advantage of the home's unique location, while being a good neighbor, architecturally.
